Buckfast Mated Queen
Our F1 Buckfast Queens are bred from the best quality breeder queens. They are raised and mated in our Welsh mating apiary in Llandegla. They are marked and supplied in a queen travelling and introduction cage along with attendant worker bees.
These top quality queens are superb honey gatherers. They over winter fantastic, build up early in the season to make strong low swarming colonies. With a good resistance to disease and gentleness on the comb they are the ideal bee to use in your apiary.
